Homemade Almond Milk

Homemade almond milk is delicious. When I worked in an office I was constantly asked about it, and the perception was that it was difficult to make. It's a lot easier to make than you may think... besides soaking the almonds it's also incredibly fast to do... a few minutes!!

Homemade Almond Milk

Makes 1 Litre, lasts ~5-days

INGREDIENTS:

Organic, preservative free wherever possible -

  • 1 Cup of Raw Almonds

  • Pinch of Sea Salt

  • 1 Litre Filtered Water

METHOD:

  1. Soak 1 cup of raw almonds with a pinch of sea salt (8-hours or leave overnight).

  2. Rinse well.

  3. Blend with 1 Litre filtered water.

  4. Strain through a muslin cloth / nut milk bag over a container.

  5. Pour into a bottle.

  6. Refrigerate and enjoy!
