Healthy Hot Chocolate - Vegan, Gluten Free

Nourishing Hot Chocolate is a Hug in Mug!

Antioxidant concentration in hot cacao is*:

  • Almost twice as high as red wine.

  • Two to three times stronger than green tea.

  • Four to five times higher than black tea.

  • Contains compounds that treat internal hemorrhages, improve blood flow, lower blood pressure & improve heart health.

Healthy Hot Chocolate

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS:

Organic, preservative free wherever possible -

  • 1 Heaped Teaspoon Raw Cacao

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla

  • 1 to 2 Teaspoons of Honey, Maple Syrup or Agave (for completely sugar free use something like Stevia)

  • Pinch of Sea Salt

  • 350ml of Nut Milk (use the amount that fills your mug - heat it up in a pan)

METHOD:

  1. Pop all of the ingredients into a decent sized mug and mix with a little hot water to form a paste.

  2. Then pour in your favourite heated nut milk. Stir and ENJOY!
